Students have a vital role in creating a positive school environment conductive to learning and happiness. It is important that students are give an active voice within the school and our Student Council is one of the ways we aim to achieve this.
Our Student Council gives our pupils a more active role in the organisation of our school and ensure that they are listened to and respected for their ideas and concerns. Discussions in classes and at Student Council meetings help to develop social and learning skills in many areas such as problem solving, teamwork, public speaking and the decision making process.
The Student Council act as a channel of communication within the school, between pupils and staff. They play an active role in organising various events during the school year.
